What is your first project with your new toy?

Nice new acquisition. I've got an '82 as well. Looks good (well, except for those seat covers, those gotta go). What are you running as a tailgate with the hardtop off? Any pics available?

Thanks, and have fun with that thing.

Looks pretty good from here. I haven't seen my 82( new to me project) in a few weeks .Waiting for the frame to be returned to norm. Yours looks pretty straight.

Oh , except the seat covers.

I dont mind the seat covers as much as the front bumper, ick. Trashing aside, looks good!

The "tailgate" is a swing out tire carrier/dual jerry can holder. My first project was dropping it off at Urban Land Cruisers to get a thorough check-up and tune-up. I'll fix any functional issues first, then get into the upgrades.

It came with the top and doors, which are both in great shape and never going back on the truck.

More pictures oh.... welcome

Welcome to Sumter

Well looks like I have a FJ neighbor somewhere in the sumter area. I've just bought a shop and a little place toward pinewood off 120 has a Sumter address however. PM me and we will get together, Or run by on almost any weekend and I'll be working on my rebirth of BT-60 for the next few weeks. LOL Doc And you get a double mud/sumter welcome.:flipoff2::flipoff2:

Let me know when you're coming so I can get the shades out to get ready for those seat covers:cool:

Welcome.Go play with it in the woods before you fix it all up!*** mike
