new 80s USA list/group

is a new alternative to the splitting and restructuring of the 80scool lists.

I post this here as I know a lot of you have been involved in the previous 80s lists.

Really, it is much different than Ih8mud 80 forum. I really think I prefer this place to all other 80 places. But this is another option, another place, another form, to get information on our beloved 80 series. And since I'm at addict status I do both

And since they do Tech there to that is my arguement for posting in the tech section here.

Actually, this is broken off of the 80s groups. It doesn't have to do with George. I guess a lot of the folks who used to be on 80s_usa didn't like the new group George formed. I believe the focus of this group is both tech and chat for 80s owners in the US. I really dislike the US part as I think it should include all of NA as we end up with the same types of issues with similar vehicles. And yes I know that Canada got screwed and hasn't had a LC imported to Canada for years. Gosh, you'd think I was Canadian how I'm sticking up for those guys!

I like George's 80s Intl List but I haven't found my way back over to it since the change. I sometimes get overwhelmed by the information there. So much of it doesn't pertain to NA 80s. How many times can you read about big end bearings and not get pissed off that you never had a chance to have those big end bearing problems because we didn't get the cool Cruisers.
