It was rebuilt by Precision Machine in Chubbuck Idaho. They specialize in rebuilds
It has new OEM pistons and OEM parts
I do have all of the receipts.
It has been here in my shop for a few years.

OEM domed pistons for a 77 have been discontinued for a while. Did you bore it out, if so how much over?

79+ would be setup for factory PS, among other things

Whether the VIN stamped on the block is going to come up as older than the year that goes with the frame/license VIN could be an issue in some places, like CA, where they really do check parts for matching numbers now and again, but I admit this isn't nearly as big a deal as if you're trying to get a 'different' (like, 350/vortec/LS1/etc.) smogged the first time. Still, technically, you can't have a '77 block in a '78 or newer truck, on paper, and that could be something some people care about.
