I just wanted to share my excitement over my new ride...
Moved to Houston from Midland, TX and sold my 2006 LX470 (100k mi) and finally found a CPO white/black 2014 200 up in MA for $56k dlvd to Houston with 36kmi. I know, I overpaid but I was sick of waiting, ubering around, and bumming rides all the time.

200 arrived looking like this:

I already had ordered my tundra wheels off ebay and had them powdercoated (thanks Romer) so they went on pretty quick:

Really happy with how they turned out. I used Coating Source in Houston for the powdercoat and Josh there did really great job with a quick turnaround.

Next, I'll just remove the 3rd row and add a Raingler dog barrier. The dealer in MA put on new Geolander ATs so I'll just run those for awhile until I put Nitto's on like I had on the LX.

That's all I have. Been a LC driver since 2003 (a used 94 80series was my first) and have always come to this site for everything. Excited for the next chapter!

Congrats - given that it came from New England, how does the truck look underneath? Ours came from Maine and I was pretty dismayed as to how much surface and fastener corrosion there was underneath, even though the body is great. My truck was even CPO and the dealer essentially lied to me about its condition. Have you also looked at the KDSS valves?

Congrats on the new truck! I too am curious irt the amount of rust...you did the inverse of what most people do when it comes to buying truck from out of state and shipping it.

How expensive was the powdercoat? I found a set of those wheels locally, just trying to decide if it is worth the effort.
great looking LC!

I can't sugarcoat it, you are both right to be weary of NE rigs, had I seen mine in person I might have passed on it or asked for some money off. I saw pictures before hand though and they told me it was garage and that they got it on a trade in when the passed owner wanted a brand new LC which I read as an owner who had money and took care of their vehicles; carfax has all entries from dealers as well. For my own defense, I looked almost daily at Cars and Autotrader for 13-15 white or silver or green LCs with under 40k mi and any that were in the TX area got snapped up too quickly or went for closer to $60k.

I will check the KDSS valves. thanks for the heads up Tremek!

great looking LC!

$85/rim for sandblast and powdercoat, wheels off ebay were ~$193ea + the 4 trd caps (4 for ~$70) off ebay, + $80 total install from toyota dealer + wheel locks + $45 for new tpms = math after bedtime is hard. i think the trd pro rims are $450ea + install and tpms so you save (conservative math) ~$100/rim doing it this way

looking good! LWBS!!!!

haha my man! good to see you on here. check your instagram! I am in SA on Monday next week so hopefully an ATX trip in the works real soon!

LWBS all day

I live in upstate NY and am 30 minutes from MA. You're rig being only 3 years old and garage kept should have helped it from rusting too bad. MA can play havoc on a rig regarding rust, so I would definitely check the KDSS valves and slap some marine grease on them asap. Congrats on the rig, she is a beaut.

Congrats! White is a great color on these trucks. Enjoy it!

Great price on powdercoating. That's a win!

What's the name of these Tundra rims? I really like them. I think I saw them on @justdifferentials and @Romer? Correct offset as stock?

Rig looks great.

thanks! & yes, same exact wheel dimensions (18x8) & offset (155mm) as stock.
name- tundra trd wheels is what they came up as on ebay. and yes, I stole the idea from @Romer 's build thread!
