so the roll down windows trim chrome just comes right off? Nice- always thought it was more involved.

The best thing for reducing wind noise around the doors is to replace your weatherstripping. I ordered up a new set for all the doors and the rear hatch from Kevin at wagongear.com - huge difference in really sealing out the wind better. The chrome pieces were removed after I did the weatherstripping so it's hard to say if it made a difference - I just like the way it looks more - no losse, wobbly, faded chrome bits on the truck - black looks cleaner now IMHO.
