Need taco help again. Bed cover and tailgate locks.

Thanks to the taco board for the prior help on identifying the year of the bed used on our ute project.

Wanting to put on a bed cover before our trip next week. Any recommendations for brand or style?

To be clear, we plan on skinning the outside of the bed to look like the Land Cruiser, which will make the rail cap about 2 inches wider, so the cover I am looking for can't go over what would be the outside of the Tacoma bed, Like the fiberglass toppers do.

Thinking about a tri flip or the roll up with Velcro. Any recommended styles or brands?

Also, is there any kits to convert the tailgate to be locked?

i use a roll-n-lock on my last pickup. it mounts to the inside and you should have any issue with wider cap. it was well made and secured the bed well.
