Hey guys so Im doing a soa with 60 axles. the problem is when i got them they had no perchs or anything on them. So i need to know what the stock caster angle is for an '85 fj60 front axle. Im posting up on the 60 section to but i figure you guys will know just as much. So please help im trying to do it today and didnt think about the caster angle being dif than a 40. Thanks.
Cole

If you are putting this 60 axle on a 40 I would think you should be using the stock 40 caster angle. If you are going to err, make sure it is in the direction of more, not less, that makes it a little bit harder to turn and makes it more directionally stable.

There are threads on here about caster angle.

Hi All:

Hey Cole, be sure to search-out the BJ74 build by "Lowenbrau." He used 60 Series axles on this SOA swap, and did a real nice job.

Good luck!

Alan
