I’ve been reading this site for a while but this is my first post. I’ve found a 06 lx 470 with good mileage and it has been maintained throughout life at Lexus dealership... my only concern is that it was in an accident 5-6 years back( it was a minor accident per the Lexus maintenance records but it was to the left front end). The price is good and I was wondering from people with more experience than me if there are any reservations? Thanks

Check to see if the air bags were deployed? I wouldn’t pay top dollar, by any means. Accident means a deal, but not a deal breaker for me personally. Just plan to hold onto it or get a ton of questions if you were to try and sell it again in the near future.
Unless there are pics of the accident damage, assume it was serious. Seller will always say it was minor or in a parking lot.

No big deal. Previous owner keeping it 5-6 years after accident is indicator whatever damage there was did not cause issue for PO.
In addition, buying a truck with no accident reported in history does not ensure it was not in an accident rather it was not reported. If PO always went to Lexus then at least you know the history vs going to an Indy shop and you might never know.

I appreciate the responses. I feel like Lexus would have done the repairs but I plan to call the dealership and see. I agree that of the PO kept the truck for years after the wreck then it must not have caused too many problems.
