I am looking at a 2007 140k miles Lx470 no rust w 90k or later major service miles done - belts etc. Mint condition inside and out. 4 owners all TX and two minor accidents. Guy wants 23k but seems high? Any advise would be great. Also looking at 97 Lx450 w similar miles and price and condition. Decisions decisions :).

I just paid less for my 1 owner land cruiser with less miles. Granted I've had some headaches and that is one year newer. I'd say 18ish would be more fair.

That’s probably priced just under what a dealer would/could sell it for. But these days, it’s anyone’s guess. Most guys on here would try to pay $18-$20k for that truck BUT they aren’t making many more, it’s a 2007, it’s loaded with good maintenance history. So if it’s in great condition and you can afford it, jump on it. My suggestion is to keep in contact with the guy, build a report with him, sharpen your negotiating skills.

That’s a fair price. Which is different than a good price. It’s hard to find 06-07 with no rust, low miles, and mint condition, so you end up paying more than you want, but so will the next guy if you ever go to sell. Skip the ‘97, it will drive like a dog compared to the 4.7 vvti

I really don't understand cross-shopping an 80 with a 100.
Have you driven both?

They're very different trucks.

I would say a bit high unless it is absolutely mint. Seems the miles would bring the price down below or near 20k.

that’s $5k too high, white ones are a dime a dozen.
2 wrecks ? pass

Agree with this - just because the market is "hot" does not mean all flaws can be ignored. An 07 for $23K should not have 4 owners and 2 wrecks. Grey one sold in CA here on MUD last week - 2 owners I think, no wrecks, lower miles for $22.5K. The thing looked mint.

Hahahaha! People will say anything, and people will believe anything. Trips me out. Do the research, don't be a lemming. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!
