I tried the search...can someone send me a pic, front and side of
37/12.50/17's in the drive way...not articulated, please. I'm debating on going up to that size. If you have KO's that would be great as well.

Well I was hoping for a 6" lift...I don't recall if Kumar has a 6" lift on his truck?

Phil's is about that high, but I don't have any pix of it on flat ground with the AT's on it.

Sorry the pics are so small...I am using a different photo editer that I am not used to. I change the pixels to 800x600 but it still leaves the photo the same number of bites? So I had to go 400 pixels x?

At any rate:
37/12.5/17 MTRs Slee 6" front 6" heavy rear I am about a 1/2" higher in the rear (6.5) when unloaded and about 1/2" lower in the rear(5.5) when full of fuel and all gear. The front was exactly 6" of lift.....I do have a 10mm packer in the front to help level it out a bit. The front only rubs VERY slight on the front of the inner fender well when turned. Only enough to clean off the dust so I am not too worried about this. The rear is a bit tighter. I trimed the fender flare very little (straightened out the line from top to back) I also added 4" bump stops in the rear. I think you could get away with 3" if you didn't have a dual filler neck. This set up worked GREAT for Moab 06 no problems what so ever. Keep in mind the more offset you use on your wheels in the front the more "rubbing" you will have. I think the rear is the same. I have 4" of backspace on a 8.5" wheel. I could have gone with 3 3/4" but that is about it before it would start to rub really bad front and rear.

first pic is not too flat but is what happens when you don't pay attention to the trail (DOH) because the 37's make it too easy:D I slid off the side of this slab and was wedged in place....couldn't go left right forwards or backwards. I hope the other two give you close to what you are looking for...it was hard to find a photo of the truck on the flat:D

I do believe he has the slee 6" kit.

I was wondering about your set up taz. Where did you get the 4" bump stops...two of the slee 2"? Also Where is the outside of your wheel sitting in reference to stock? I have 1.25" spacers, so hmmm I had this figured at one point?!
By the way with the photos, you size them to 800 by whatever, then it is the Jpeg compression that you drop to get the pics under 87k.

Here is mine. 37x12.5x17 Krawlers on beadlocks. First two are with slee's 6" lift, Third is with an added 3" body lift.

Edit: the Rims are 10" wide, BS is 3.5. They do Rub when fully compressed. I added the 3" body lift to fix this problem. I also have a few picts with the stock wheels. Just doesent look right.

THANKYOU guys!! I really appeciate it.!!! Clown midget....I assume you trimmed the inner fenders?? About how much do ya'll recommend to trim?
airlaird

Best way to trim is get those tires on there and flex it (slowly) you will see if/where to trim and how much bump stop to add to minimize major trimming:D The only trimming I did was the lower rear most part of the rear flares (see third pic).

Rob, my bumpstops are custom "Sleep Comfort Inn" of Moab units. I even had them custom "rust" coated
002.gif

They are made out of 2"x4"x1/8" tubing. I think they are 6" long if my memory is still good?? (see first pic)

I think you (Rob) are about 1/4" wider than I am to the outside of your tire assuming your tires are the same section width?

Keep in mind my adjustable rear upper arms are as short as they will go. This was to minimize my vibrations and it also moved the tire forward in the wheel well when compressed which helped with the rubbing. One of these days I am going to move my dual filler neck back about 1" to allow me to run a 3" bump stop. (see second pic)

damn those look nice. i just got 315s now i want some 37s ahhhhhhhhh:eek:

Hey Gary thanks for the compliments...that means alot coming from the guy with the "best" truck at Moab. You must have a double cardan rear shaft. I still have the stock rear shaft. I am leaning towards the double cardan shaft to raise the pinion as you have and get rid of some vibrations...hopefully. The only problem with doing that is I will have to custom build some shorter lower arms to move the axle back forward to clear the 37's.

Not mine but here are a couple of pics of MTR 37's on 17" wheels. I don't remember the specifics.
