After I did an SOA on my 40 with a 60 series front axle, I need to move my front spring shackle mount out 1" more. It was already outboarded 1.75" but, I had to move the axle perches out even more than when I had an SUA set up. Since it looks like I will have to make some type of frame box for the shackle mount, I could use some ideas. Thanks.

Make your own frame outboarding bracket, similar to the Ruffstuff brackets. It will give you a wider area to weld the shackle hanger to. I make a similar bracket for my front spring hanger but am SOA. It is the same concept.

That is perfect. exactly the type of mounts I have. (but I am not shackle reversed). It looks like you used a piece of angle and another 1/4" piece of flat stock for the 45* piece?

Much more simplier than I was thinking.

Nope, just had some 4x4x1/4" box left over from my front bumper that I cut for the gusset. The two big boys on the left:

The only difference is that you will want to box in the bottom of the gusset to give yourself a mounting surface flush with the bottom of the frame for the shackle hanger to mate to. Post up pics of what you end up doing.

What about using a rear 40 hanger on the front? Then you just have to figure out the shackle hanger

Ewheeler that looks nice and very clean. That is also one bad A$$ bumper.Where did you get the front hanger at and did you use the stock hanger for the rear?

Thanks for the comps.
