A wiring harness. It will be the biggest issue. If you make one from the existing harness you will need four complete harnesses. Engine one, engine two, the one under the dash and the FJ-45 harness. Put the engine on a really good stand and hook it all up. Peel off all the loom and start stripping out what you don't want. You get lights and turn signals so you can decide what to keep there. I kept all of that. Once you know what you want you can start eliminating heater control, interior lighting, ect. Toyota did not make it a one wire hook up like GM. I have hundreds of hours into my harness. I maybe could get enough it down to 40-50 now after having done it.
after that it's all more or less just an engine swap with a lot of fabrication and figuring out. The only real difference between a 1FZ and a cummins or LS swap is the almost complete lack of support. Not a lot of people have done it yet.
