Just did a transfer case and Automatic Overhaul Everything goes good until I put them back in.
First time I fought it a bit to get the last 1/4" but it went in. I couldn't turn the engine over by hand to hook up the converter bolts. I pulled it back out to make sure things were ok. I can spin the converter while is on the trans, I can spin the engine when it's not linked. I put the converter into the pilot to make sure it was the right size and fit and spun well.
I checked the clearance on the converter body and case ,it was fine.
I put it back in , it went easier this time and didn't have to fight the last bit . I still cant turn the engine over by hand. I even put the starter back in and tried to turn it over with it. no go I just get a locked up starter. It's even up on the cross member.
Any ideas?
And yes its in Nuetral
