hi all im new to the site and needing help with my 2lte surf
when its cold and i start it it chugges and chuggs and will stall unless you rev it until it stops chuging (a quick rev to 3000rm will do it) snd then it idles but with a massive miss fire and if you stand about 20 metres from the truck you cant see it at all its all black what could be the issue ??
i have just put brand new glow plugs in and it starts easy but still a massive misfire and huge amount of smoke when its warm its fine i have put a whole bottle of morreys injector clean in but its still the same its been like this since someone played with my spill control valve they changed it like 2-3 turns with a screw driver i think and i want to know what the correct setting is ie if i wind it all the way(up) how many turns down until its correct
