Wanted Need a 2F Cylinder Head! help

Trying to locate a good shape, decent priced cylinder head for a 2F

Took my '85 FJ60 to mechanic almost 2 months ago. Located crack in cylinder head and sent it to his favorite machine shop for welding. Two months later I still have no ride they can't seem to fix it or locate a replacement. Please a nod in the right direction to help me locate one would be appreciated.

I am located in Western North Carolina also travel to Atlanta often. And yeah expensive shipping perhaps, but heck I have already had one sent off to it's grave via UPS.

Timely thread. I was at Mudrak's the other day and he said he is all out and can't get any, not even new ones (which used to cost $700 for the bare head). He had 3 with cracks sitting on the work bench. Anyway, good reason to be careful about overheats in FJ60s.

You might try contacting Cruiseroutfitters, Mark's Offroad etc.

I might have one but I will not be able to check on it until this weekend. I parted out an '84 FJ60 last year and can't remember if I still have the head or not.

I have one, and i am in central VA so shipping shouldnt be too bad, i shipped 140 lbs of stuff to baton rouge the other day and it only set me back 75 bucks, shipping to NC should be very cheap.

Well now we are gettin somewhere! Agent Orange is yours in good shape? happen to know any of it's history ie the reason for the demise of its former engine???

The truck it came out of ran well, the truck was wrecked into a tractor trailer so the motor ran strong enough to get up enough speed to mush up the front of the truck pretty well. The motor was spared, the water pump shaft got bent from the radiator pushing on the fan but im sure the head is still good.

So what im saying is as far as i know, no issues with this head. About 140k on the motor.

I have a complete top end of a 3fe. Ecu, manifolds, accesories, everything if you want to make the move to a 2fe.

Cool ! So I guess we need to talk $$$ perhaps. And i need to figure out how to get a guy who has my truck in 1,400 pieces to call me back without offending him so badly that i get my truck back in 1,500 pieces!!!

I have a really nice head in Myrtle Beach ,SC that came off a motor with 140,000 on it before the oil pump went out and seized the crank. The valves look really clean, and taken care off. I am sure shipping would be very cheap, and/or I could meet you somewhere depending on your location in West NC.

So my mechanic found one and i called off the dogs, but it was cracked, now have 3 cracked leaky heads.... Someone near Atlanta PM'ed me b4 and i lost the contact info. I am hunting again pm if you have a head to sell.

I'm in Indiana. Just had the head from my 2f completely rebuild first of this year, due to a cracked valve seat..It is still on the engine right now but I'll be doing a 2fe very soon. Cost me 375.00 to get it reworked. Replaced one valve with OEM valve, ground them all, replaced 4 seats. New guides & seals and Milled it .030 would like to get $300.00 back out of it, plus shipping.
