Mysterious rubbing sound at full articulation

Hi guys,

I noticed that my 80 makes a rubbing round from the rear whenever the suspension is flexed. (enough to raise a tire) At first I thought it was the the tire rubbing against the flare but I don't see any rub marks on the flare. What do you guys think it could be?

I'm running 33 inch tires (285/75/18) with a 2.5 inch lift.

Do you have stock wheels ? I wouldn't have expected gem to rub but as well wouldn't lose any sleep over it if that is the cause


Ok after watching the video it does almost sound like your catching a lip/edge gas the smooth frame. Depending on your style of sway bar drop it might be another place to look.
