Body filler applied and set to cure for 24 hours. The weather down here is cool due to a typhoon. Cooler than the normal temp.

Anybody knows about anti-rattle in an ambulance door? Do you have any pictures that maybe you can share? I have been searching the net for days now and it seems nobody ar anybody has posted regarding this part. I bought this part but someow, the pair is missing, the stopper. It is attached to the LH rear ambulance door and has an upper and a lower to solve the problem in a rattling door. Anyone?

I need your advice and/or suggestion. The door sidings are worn out and the upholstery does not fit in as the seats will also be reupholstered. I have worked on the sidings today as I cannot spray paint because of the weather. I want to know which one would come out neat. I have a choice between a checkered aluminum plate, around 1.5mm to 2mm. A plate costs around US$80.00, I need 2 plates for the whole sidings including the back abulance door. I do not need to paint as it is aluminum. But maybe I can apply a darker body color on it. Sidings with plywood cost less but need an upholstery man to sew it. What do you think?

I like the idea of checkered aluminum plate as a door panel upgrade.. I need to do something to my rig as well.
To prevent issues with galvanic corrosion between aluminum and metal components they must be electrically insulated from one another. Also potential rattling noise maker, depending on how well it is fastened (while still insulated)

Might be simpler and more color/pattern options with wood/upholstery.

I agree, wood and vinyl must go together. Gotcha.

I have solved the problem of the anti-rattle which is no longer available. I found this picture in the net when I googled. This is the upper striker with the rubber cushion.

This came from my unit without the rubber cushion. No longer available.

All I need to do is cut the screw short then install. Looks kind of OEM.

The grill and the toyota emblem painted with the dark gun metal. A carbon fiber sticker is being plotted by a plotter in the print shop. I would rather make it a surprise once I have stuck this to the emblem.

Not often do you see people actually rebuilding clutch and brake master cylinders. Cool!
