Before we spray paint the body, we decided to coat the floor with rubberized paint.

Fantastic job, props to you on fine work... My daily driver is an 86 hj61 12ht truck that one Day will get similar resto, Just no time now jjjj
Did you reline your engine hay with heatshield?? I also added am intercooler that makes a big difference and adds to life of motor. More pics please.

jbzee, I havn't done that. what would you suggest I use for a liner. An intercooler is way off my budget. But that is good to think about. More so, I would just want to install as much DIY accessories. Like an overhead console, modified center console, rear storage and a ladder. I might install a step board, and a spare tire carrier. I am also thinking of a separate DC aircon compressor to augment the cooling of the rear area.

Hey odingski,
I have the oem shielding but its showing its age. I am thinking dynamat but there are quote a few options out there. The intercooler was not as costly as you may expect and with my good scoop and added draw through fan, it keeps things cool. I am fortunate to have the oem compressor and you can hang meat in my truck its so cold!!! Tintes Windows help a lot and protect your interior too. I wish I has the ambulance doors, nice. Good luck on your rig, it is looking Great.
