I bought Willie late last year, 2014. So I put aside the restoration or as I may call it, reconditioning. Why Willie, because that is the name of the previous owner. I live in the Philippines in the island of Negros, which is around 850 kilometers from the capital, Manila. This was where Willie came from. I flew to Manila and drove the beast to Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental. I had to load Willie on a barge to get to one island to the other. It took me 4 days and three nights to get to my place. Picture attached was taken the time I got home from the long trip.
Hello, do you still have this truck? found your picture through google images..haaaaa funny, we'll be moving to Dumaguete June 2020.
Have you done any mods to it since this picture? I''m looking for a 60 over there; there are a lot of off road clubs around Santa Juliana, and north of manila. We came to the Buglasan Festival in Oct 2015. Let me know if you can find me a 60 in decent shape to use.

VERY NICE BUILD!!!! Its nice to see you are very skilled and so are your employees. How much do you pay your mechanic a day if you don't mind me asking? I have a friend in Costa Rica and he has 7 guys working for him. His payroll every two weeks is only 1500 US. Not too hard on the wallet.

Thank for appreciating my work. I do not maintain a mechanic or any skilled worker for my shop. They do work on a per job basis. In this way, I do not have a big overhead. I just have to schedule them. But to answer your question as to how much we pay on a per day basis is 400.00 to 500.00 pesos depending on their skill level. They could go up. The very skilled ones demand close to 1000.00 pesos. That is equivalent to around 20.00 US dollars. It is much cheaper over here.

I got my fuse cover from a company based in Singapore. They usually source their parts directly from Japan and United Arab Emirates. You are assured of the original part unless they indicate a replacement. still, they are Japan made.
