Running board is almost done. Got an idea, instead of checkered plate to use for step board, I will use wood. Molave, a hard wood that is over 100 years old and used as railroad ties with its very fine grain and just below 3/4 of an inch thick and laminated with clear epoxy. what do you think?

Mmmm not sure about wood on your very silver metallic machine. What does the wood look like? Light in color or dark?

This is a special type of wood that is more than a hundred years old. Molave is used as railroad ties and is very dense. I have seen others use this wood for furniture and panels. To cut it down to the size requires a lot of time because it is HARD. Very. The texture and color matches any shade.
