Oh s***!!! I will keep an eye out for it in my area.

Where did you have it parked in UVIC?

D@m, I'll be watching for it. I'll also ask others to watch for it.

I reposted this onto black flag, maybe someone will have seen it, and at least lots of those guys have guns.

hope it turns up.

No F'in way. That blows man. Ill keep my eye out. If I had a gun I'd shoot him for you.

I'm going to be ont he road around cowichan valley today and tomorrow and will keep an eye out for it. Man that sucks.

Heh ya lucky I took my rifles out night before... But he does have my ammo... Cop had a funny look when I told her there was 3 bricks of ammo and requested I call 911 if its found...

Well we all hope "Andy" gets found and returned safely but I did see a nice red 42 for sale.....1984 as well.

Start gathering up all your recipts....

1984 Toyota Landcruiser BJ42.

saw this too... 75 fj40 toyota landcruiser (has an alumimum tub... )

On a side note has anyone ever delt with ICBC for a stolen vehicle with so many random modifications and such like this ?
Do you have receipts for the modifications? Or even just the receipts for the parts? I've had a few friends have modified vehicles stolen, they took the book value of the vehicle and added the receipts directly to it.

It might also help to print off some example FS ads of other similar trucks, to show they go for a lot more than what I expect ICBC will think they go for. One thing to keep in mind... do NOT SIGN the papers ICBC will try forcing down your throat unless you're happy. Once signed, you've had it. If you keep the case open and refuse to sign, they'll be more likely to barter with you to come up with something that satisfies you.

Any update on it?

no updates... problem is most parts I got used or found deals on... i have a book of lordco receipts but nothing for things like winch, offroad lights, aluminum tub, locker, tires, soft top, aux tank or other things...

well, you bought all that stuff off guys in the club right?;)

but yeah, start a file of comparable trucks for sale, plus show them what that tub is worth.

I fought with them for a few weeks when my celica sank...ended up doing ok.

I had devalued the celica at 500 bucks when I bought it , two weeks later it was under water ( not my fault...) and I flatly told the guy, that what I paid for it has nothing to do with what it's worth.
Things are worth what they'd sell for, not what they were bought for.

x2 dont sign

Bring them pictures of what you had, and a list of what they would cost to get. List every last thing that was added.

Would it be a good idea to give fliers with a picture to some of the folks who work at the ferries? Would someone try to take a stolen truck off the island?

Ya I've been compiling a list of cruisers for sale and also a list of modifications... I have to go up island and get my box of receipts from lordco.

Also making a list of all the s*** that was in it like my hilift and such...

I love the "how much gas was in it?" Followed by "not sure I disconnected the gauge... But there is a 20L jerry can full"
