Pretty sure it wasn’t parked in a mud hole, looks like sand to me, probably mounded up from the wind. Having grown up in north Texas it probably hasn’t seen much rain! I’m going to guess somewhere along the 287 corridor or panhandle/south plains region from the images.

Looks greatNot that I noticed. I slathered it on in sections and scrubbed with various nylon brushes. OEM paint is durable stuff.
