Hi I'm new to this forum. I own a lexus isf and have been a member of the clublexus forum for a few years. About a month ago I purchased a CPO 2013 lexus lx 570 with 32k miles and I'm wondering whether a few things are normal or not.
- I feel a slight but noticeable vibration at full lock of the steering wheel, at either direction, when making sharp turns. I belive this only happens when the LX is cold and I'm wondering if it's normal. I've read about some others having the same issue but no definitive answers.
- when I press the brake pedal i hear sort of a breathing or electrical sound. Sometimes a slight vibration on the pedal accompanies the sound. The vibration isn't related to the pads or the rotor but to whatever makes the noise down at the pedal. This is mostly noticeable at slow speeds in stop and go traffic. I'm wondering if this is normal.
- I also noticed that the front driver and passenger seat belts are different at the bottom where they attach to the pillar. The passenger side has some sort of electrical device before the bolt that secures it to the pillar. The driver's side doesn't have this device.
I'm really enjoying the truck and even though my isf is fully modded, i think the LX will remain mostly stock since it's my daily. So far I've only done full led inside lighting, weather tech liners and front and rear bar guards. I've been reading this forum for a few months now and I'm thankful for the wealth of info it contains.
Thanks,
John
