Hi all,

I just wanted to give kudos to Red Line for building a really nice set of sliders for my 97. They are really beefy and are built very well. Since they clamp the frame rails and bolt in to existing holes near the cats it made installation pretty easy with just a floor jack. Cool thing is, I have bolt on cat protection.:D Yeah, my cat protection bolts on to the sliders. That will make it easier to work on the exhaust or get debris removed. I will post up pics of the cat protection once I get it painted and on.
Also, the gussets are pre-drilled for rock lights.

You will see in the first pic that I purcased the unfinished set. I went ahead and gave them the Rustoleum satin black treatment and then went for testing. They worked great on the trail and I realised a few benefits from the side plates. They help with branches as well as they keeping the tires from throwing road gravel up on the side of the truck now that I do not run mud flaps.

Can you post a pic of the front of your truck? I have the same shortbus bumper and have been puting off installing my round lights on top of the bar because I thought it might look like MICKEY MOUSE. That one shot of your front end doesn't look too bad.....

Nice sliders. The guys at Redline are top notch.

Good lookin sliders. Would love to see how the cat protection bolts on. I have the Hannah sliders but a bud asked me what I thought about these.

Truck Looks Sweet! thanks for the Review David! I like the look with the slee bumper..

The Cat Protection has a bracket structure that the plates bolt to.. It gives you the option of removing it to clean out MUD..

LC4LIFE - those sliders look really good. I do like how the space is taken up from the main support to the outside tube. Was just down in the springs last weekend on mt Baldy trail behind The Broadmoor with a buddy - we both were stuck for hours in the snow. Lets hook up and run some trails - seems to be a few good ones near the hotel.

It's been said, but worth saying again - very nice sliders. Like lack of u-bolts, and the plating is cool

The boys at Red Line do some super nice work and generate some great ideas.

The mention of the holes is sort of humorous, Justin has some sort of fetish with dimple dies and putting dimples on everything. I think there's more to it than just the strength...

The Group buy never made it off the ground.

Price is now $750 for Everyone, anytime!

We can get rid of the Dimple Die Plate if you like, should make them even cheeper.

PM Me for more info, or to place an order!

i talked to the Dimple Die Fetchist..

If you Opt to Ditch the Dimple Die Plate, this will make these sliders $689

Thats Right UNDER $700 for a Beefy Slider Set with Cat Protection!!

I'm interested as I'm now in the market for sliders. Anyone have any shots of the cat protection? Without the dimples, how is drainage achieved?

Isotel, is the price above finished sliders (incl. powdercoating?) If so, what would be the price to get them bare (as the OP did?). It's a steal either way, just wondering ;)
