So.....
I recently purchased some slightly used 866s (Thanks Pskhaat!), but couldn't install them until I took care of the slider / step issue. Yous see,
likes the running boards to use as steps, as do my 2 small children. Ans since I don't have the $$$$ to buy slee slidersteps, I thought I'd make them.
I did not take any pictures during, just after install. They are made with 1.75" .120 wall HREW. Seeing as I didn't have access to a tube bender, I just mitered all the corners. I did the standard HiLift test the other day and they held up to that, so we'll see what happens.
