Used it before and it faded like crazy, virtually dark greyish white after a few months. That's the one thing I like about the Grizzly Grip is it has a UV additive that reduces UV deterioration to the base material. I believe that the Monstaliner has the same additive.

My black monstaliner on the 60 has weathered the Vegas sun beautifully. I've had it on for about a year and am very happy with the product. Enough so that I am about to do the same liner treatment on my Tow rig.

Ive used herculiner, Duplicolor, Some 3M version, and one I can't remember and Alpha liner. So far, the herculiner has stuck on better and weathered better than any of them. Admittedly the alpha liner was a professional job but it faded fairly rapidly.

My $0.02

I am impartial but according to their website (and the box on my porch) they have a UV additive of some sort because they call it "UV resistant".

Whatever the case, I will probably switch to Monstaliner for future projects due to positive feedback I've heard on it and the many available color choices.

I just used Monstaliner and it's awesome! Highly recommend them!

Upol raptor = no fading. UV is kick ass.

I used Upol Raptor about 3 years ago and I had bad UV results.. Maybe they have changed something in their blend.. I liked the ease of application with it, just didn't care for the end result a few months afterwards..

Thanks crazy.. J

Raptor is definitely UV stable. Was this black you used or the tintable?

It was the black Upol. But, I have decided on Monstaliner. I like using Mud vendors when I can. I plan on just ordering it off Ebay within the next 2 weeks.

magnetman-- I am about to paint my FJ60 and wondering how long I need to wait before applying the Monstaliner. I have a call in to my paint supplier to see what they recommend, but I haven't heard back yet.

I waited a week, worked out really well.

I used Grizzly Grip on some rear drawers in my Cruiser. The leftovers were used on some old wooden rocking chairs on the front porch. Its sticks very well to wood and is holding up well but has gotten a little chalky after a few years. Definitely isnt bad though.

Liner has arrived

Just got my Monstaliner kit today, Thanks Magnetman.

Plan on having this on in a couple weeks. In the final stages of body work on my 60.

I'll post up pics as soon as there is any progress.

Here are a few pics of the kit to get started.

END RESULT... GREAT PRODUCT... VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER...

THANKS MAGNETMAN!

So, what you see and I did all four wheel wells as well. I bought the 1 gallon kit and had about 1/2" left in the can. I used the remainder to go over the rear wheel wells a 3rd time...
