HI GUYS,

I wanted to post this in the member's garage but would not allow me to.

So I placed it here so you guys can take a look and see what I have collected over the past couple of years.

I have 2 - 1984 FJ40 LX - One Mustard Yellow & One White both have 5SPD, A/C, 6 SEATS P/S. The YELLOW has Original 85,000Km's and the White 190,000KM's

The Other White is a BJ42LX 1984 with the same 5SP, P/S, A/C 6 SEATS.

Always hunting for more. But over the years these have been the best i can find.

Note - I'm not sure if i would part with any of them as they hold alot of centimental value but you can always try.

Nice rigs. Don't see many (any?) with the 3 wipers and the LX package in the States. So the two in the garage are an FJ40LX and a BJ42LX, and the one with the roo bar is another BJ42LX?

I might be listing one of the FJ40 LX for sale in the sales section in the upcoming days.

The guys at Cruiser Solutions did a tub swap and Chassis repair on an LX last year and did an amazing video diary..

If anybody wants to know he differences this is super cool to watch..
With that said.. They did my two biggest pet peeves during this rebuild..

- removed only rusty parts and did not bother to blow paint over, ie diff and suspension, takes like 30 minutes I just see it as lazy..

- they installed body panels back on to the body that had clear rust holes..

I am sure both of these are because they owner had only paid for the tub swap and paint but it is easy to repair and paint while in pieces than to redo..

I am sure they will upsell and get paid to do that work again.. One reason I try to do my own work.

Great video but would not put too much credence in it as authority. He says the zebra stripe was only available in 83. In fact it was available on all LX 40s from 81-84. I've only watched the first video thus far.
