Nice work man!!! Where did you get this dash piece?

Cruiserhead.

It's a 3d printed part, and the surface was pretty rough. Used a little body filler etc.
Here it is painted.

Still a few odds and ends like cruise and ac operation still left to figure out. Just fine tuning suspension stuff this evening Just took the lifted springs out and set it back down to stock.

Here I'm checking various clearances at articulation.

Rock guards for the steps are at the powder coaters.

What tires/rims did you end up with? Any side pics with them on? Did not go back and check but what lift did you as well?

Just right man!!! Very nice!

I'll admit i haven't been the best at documenting all of our progress, but im pretty much done. Hope so, since we're on our way to moab right now 😁

I guess I left off with some interior shots, so I'll post some more final conditions.

Finished dash with Sony flat screen and kicker seperates.

Rear cargo area got a Lloyd Mats liner on top of all the sound proofing and carpet. Actually, it took two of them to also cover the seat back.

Were not installing the rear seat bottom at this time.

One other thing I did was fabricate some skid plates. All 3/16 plate.

Those 1" spacers hold the leading edge down a little. Trying to catch some air and divert it to the coolers.

I already had the slider add one for the power steps installed, so I had to work around them a little. That's the reason for the spacers on this one for the transfer case.

Here's some real world bump stop and fender clearance testing...

Stuffing those 37s while using all of the shock travel. 👍

And we took a somewhat bumpy road to hydraulic assist.

Initially, we just got a cylinder and had hoped the oem Silverado HD pump would get by. After mounting everything and getting the hoses, it did not perform very well at all.

I got a 10" cylinder, but had measured the tie bar travel at right at 9". So I fabbed a 1" spacer.

we wanted to retain the front sway bar, so i raised the front mounts. Rear mounts were also spaced down to allow driveshaft clearance. I also fabbed some brackets to hold the sway bar up. Sort of quick disconnect.

Reservoir and plumbing. I had chosen a more economical (cheap) reservoir, but it only had a -10 outlet. I needed -12. Besides, I needed to turn it 90.

Internally, it only had a couple partial baffles. PSC described their reservoir as having a screen to eliminate cavitation.
So I made one for this reservoir 😁
It does fit snug, but I shoved an o ring down on top of it to help hold it in place.

I routed my hoses this way for ease of access.

And I hate the fish bowl look with untinted windows. I asked the locally top recommended shop for an appointment. He turned me down. Said the vehicle was too old. 🙄
Didn't want to be responsible for breakage. Even said he saw it driving around town and complimented it.

Phuck it. I'd done just about everything else myself, might as well learn to tint windows too. 🤪

So with an old piece of plexiglass as my peel board, I was off to the races. 🤣

No pictures, but while I was at it, I put some Xpel PPF on the bottom 12" of the doors, and some on the rocker panels at the front seat entry.

Moab bound. We'll be at the arena. I'm bad with names, but stop by and introduce yourself 😃

I would have rather it went in that enclosed trailer in the background, but dad's gonna stay out west for about 6 months and didn't want the hassle. 👍

Here's a couple of videos.

1st one was with cherry bomb salute mufflers. Too loud. And we had taken it to a tuner that focused more on race engines. As it turned out.

Turn up your volume!

This one we had switched to walker quiet flow mufflers and I had worked with a different tuner to make it much more driveable. Less horsepower, but much smoother.

Not bad for a 5800 lbs FJ60 🤪

Way better, the cherry bombs we’re very tinny.

Any dyno numbers? she cooks!
