so i was letting my buddy use my car the last couple of days and got the text from him my throttle broke again so had to go buy another throttle cable but we shortened it and it is working great now better than before.

alright with the safety thing coming up i need to fix my e brake the good news is that i have one of these
Lever Lock - Mico® Brake Locks
but not working at the moment any one know how to work on these?

soo i try to get my line lock to work bled it and nothing soo i have no idea what to do now? soo i went one step forward and like 5 steps back today. i rewired up the ON board air and got the air horn to work. and then when i was all done i was pulling in the fj into the garage and it died no power? now i have zero power to the key but still have power to the acc. dont know what happened iam hoping it was just a fuse or plug came off? but it shut off my car? i hate electrical!!!!!!!!!!

alright today was soo much better than yesterday. i found the problem i had a loose wire going into the fuse box soo that was a relief. i wired up the air horn and installed a push button for it. still trying to figure out why my passenger blinker wont blink? and my line lock not working who knows?

even when you push the brake pedal down when flipping the lever it doesnt work. If no fluid is leaking anywhere, it will just hold the brake pressure you apply when depressing the pedal, it may not be able to hold line pressure anymore, bad valve. I take it your brake are workin good?

brakes work great! i bled it at the valve and still doesnt work or hold pressure but i can feel fulid in it but nothing. do you have one of these in yours?

No I dont, just throwin you some ideas. That valve may need replacining or rebuilding it just wont hold the pressure?

I saw a rebuild kit for your line lock on line someplace few days go when I was looking for a line lock for mine when the new tranny and t-case go it. Do a search on yours and I am sure you will find the kit. They are not cheap...something like 50 or 60 bucks for some seals and such.

Put a new o-ring in it

Just buy one of these and be done with it. A lot of guys on pirate are running them, in their buggies with 0 problems. You cant beat $20

thats cool turn off valve i wonder if i could make one through OSH hmmmmm

You need to make sure it is a quality valve and will holt the pressure of a brake system. If not it will blow

do you know what the psi is on a brake line?

It is different for eack master, I would say in the 3000 range

Cacy, where could you install these to work without hving to get out of the rig, open the hood, and turn the knob? I need to do line locks to. Any ideas we could both use? Maybe run brake line up by tranny hump so the handle is on the inside?

Yup yopu would need to ru n lines upo to the cab somewhere. Not really a problem though.

i have lines running to my dash and back down to a spliter which goes too all 4 corners i think iam going to replavce it with one on these
