Welcome! More info and pics please.

Welcome. Can you give us details on your new ride?

I have been looking at those. They went on pretty smoothly then? Did you do them yourself?
No, I have a bodywork guy. I do not possess welding skills. He had both sides fully installed in a day and they look perfect. He said they were great to work with.

Welcome! Love the truck! Removing the diamond plate was exactly what I was thinking . Other than that, keep her stock! Original drivetrain?

Original drivetrain for sure. I want to get the A/C fixed up and probably want to go to disc brakes on the front. A Weber carburetor was added at some point, so that probably needs to be switched out.

I also would like some bigger tires. Would you be against that?

It's your truck! Do what you want man. That's the fun of this hobby.

Bigger tires only with power steering !!!

This is a very good point. Marshall installed a Saginaw on mine and I was all over the road. With 33's, I have a lot more control.
