Ok, it’s still in the truck, but running rough.

It did it for a while, I changed plugs. Ran better.

A couple of days ago, started missing again. Changed cap and rotor, didn’t help.

Hard to describe, so made a video.

Here is the video Missing 95’ fj80

Any insight would be greatly appreciated

Thanks
Kent

Oil in the spark plug tubes is a major cause of misfire. Perhaps it’s time to replace the tube seals in the valve cover. The high tension ignition wires were also handled during plug replacement. You could have unknowingly, temporarily corrected an issue there as well.

Are you sure it’s a misfire? That sound seems quite loud to be a misfire plus the engine appears to be rock steady with no vibrating or movement that usually manifests in the event of misfire. Even the accelerator cable stays rock steady.

The intake tube looks suspect 🤷‍♂️

Intake tube does indeed look suspect. I'd rule out vacuum leaks first since those are the easiest fixes once found. If there were oil in the spark plug tubes in theory you would have noticed that when you changed the plugs? If there was though you'd need to do the valve cover gasket and tube seals as mentioned. After that IME could be many things, plug wires, airflow meter, bad/failing/clogged injectors just to name a few.

I did check the intake tube. I put that silver tape on it years ago just because I saw some
Cracks where they tighten.
That should cause a misfire anyway, should it?

I guess next is replacing the wires and see what happens

Rather than throwing parts it, why don't you look at the service manual? The troubleshooting guide has a procedure for finding the cause of the problem.

What are the symptoms when driving?

If there are visible cracks in the tube I'd be changing that tomorrow regardless.
