Here are the pics of my trip to Colorado.
Met a few other LC owners along the way and as always they where super cool and helpful in every way !!

We got to explore some dirt roads that required high clearance and 4WD but nothing too extreme.

Both units performed great but as always there is room for improvement..(that's the fun part, more-MODS).

Other than a bad starter and the alternator going funky on me.. we had no other mechanicals........

Here is the link to our pics....

Wow, what an epic trip! We are doing a somewhat similar trip starting next week, and can't wait. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Wow, NICE, Awesome trip, you guys were playing in my old stomping grounds, I grew up where most of your pictures were taken. We used to ride over to Crusty Butt for lunch and ride back in the same day, both bikes and cycles. T-ride is one of my most fav places, Blue grass fest is a hoot, but gotten really pricey, were you around for the Phish shows???

That whole area, Ourey, Silverton, T-ride etc. I.M.O. Is the best part of CO.

Wow, what a great ride and set up you guys have, makes me jellous;), how long was your trip? Where did you get your trailer, did you build it....
Great pictures, you guys are people I could diffently hang with, thanks for sharing!

Jamie, thanks eh !!! I was a blast indeed..!!!
Trip was some 28 days long, we usually stop in Zion to do some canyons there, but it was a mad house with all the re-paving that was going on.....

I got the trailer from another mudder up in Sonoma Co.
Thanks for all the comments.... and we heard from many others say the same...about that area of CO.

Laters,

Wow! Saw the Westagard Pass sign and had to respond. Did you go to the ancient Bristlecone Pine forest? My grandparents lived in Aspendell and Ive been through that pass quite a few times. Thanks for the flashback guys. Westgard is one of my all time favorite roads, tight and technical, fun in a sportscar but would love to do it in my V8FJ40. Not sure if the carb could handle the altitude changes though. Great pics and a great time I'm sure.

Yah must be talking about the Death Valley ride last year.. we did not do the Bristle Cone but have done it in previous trips..

Aspendell, that's a NICE little community up there eh !!!
I would love me a place up there, but its waaaay too expensive now days..

That pass was one of the hardest riding we have ever done...but it was awesome !!
Thanks for the comments... !!!
Yer V8FJ40 would do just fine Im sure !!

Wow...awesome trip and pictures. I love the San Juan's. What's the place called with the striped sandstone?
