Yeah Cima lights, unfortunatley no good for my seires 2, suits series 1.

Fitted a Tough Dog Steering Damper today, what a world of difference, should have done that ages ago.

I also Headed to Lithgow (Blue Mountains in NSW) today with a few friends! I need lockers lol. Also took a little chunk out of my wheel and hit the rear quarter panel :(

Hit the the tracks yesterday, a place called Baal Bone Gap, only 1.5 hours from Sydney. Not an overly extreme track, but still great drive and great views.

I notice alot of free play in the wheel, and the steering wheel off center

Driving her yesterday I noticed when i change gear it pulls pretty hard to the left...then I realised up that it was when I let off the accelerator is when it drives to the left...

Front left tyre on the inside looks like it has some oil on it too...
Well think I found my problem!

Poor Baboon has been sitting on the road unloved the past two weeks. Managed to collect all the parts needed to do the front and rear hub seal.
Here is the rear kit, genuine Toyota
Hubsealkit-2_zps3e0af4cd.jpg

The front kit, which is Koyo (Alot cheaper, just as good!)
Hubsealkit-6_zps724b4ab8.jpg

Also got the gearboot!

Awesome rig my friend!! love how it turned out.. Is that a Waeco fridge??? How do you like. Been thinking in doing the same thing.

Thanks mate! Yeah its one of those Waeco coolers, its more like an Esky. If something is cold, it will keep it cold. But if you put something in that is warm, it wont make it cold if you know what I mean. Its good to have for drinks and Choclate which I love haha.

Ordered some new rear panel stickers (Originals were sanded off before respray)..Love the 90's decals in Japanese cars...Valves lol

Been a while since I updated.
Installed Some cool retro 90's Recaros
Recaros-6_zpsf0e68b75.jpg

Added a rear work/reverse light from Frank @yodaTEQ
Rear%20Light-7_zpsnxvwrfcp.jpg

Added these XXi Castor plates. These are to help castor adjustments when you have an aftermarket lift. The car drives alot nicer.

Recent work trip to Bathurst, I got stuck in a heavy storm, with Hail, thankfully she survived!

Welcome back to the fold. You should come down to Mexico and we'll do the high country.

Those castor plates are awesome looking, you got a link for them?
Yep! Here they are Adjustable Caster Plates

Would love to!!

Made a trek yesterday to a town called Barooga. About 1.5 hours from Albury (Border of NSW and Vic).

Was alone, so had to fly to albury then bus to Barooga.

She's a 1996 Multivalve GXL! That Diesel torque!!! She sat on 110km the whole way home without once downshifting to 4th. I was expecting it to do more kms on the one tank, but only got 600km..not sure if thats good or not..but I was expecting 700, considering its on road tyres and no bar work. She only has 418k kms..but the thing is squeaky clean...no rattles no strange noises, just purred blissfully!!!!

Specs:
1996 GXL 1HDFT
GT Turbo
3" Red Back Exhaust
Front Mount

2" Old Man Emu Lift (Feels awesome too!)

Old mate did a simpson trip last year (6000kms) and before that put a new clutch in, replaced all hoses belts (Timing belt too) so its very well maintained.

That's a nice clean rig for sure. I've got a weekend trip on for some of our local tracks per below, 10 cars LOL (you should join up to this group too) next month, but if you could make it down say, after New Years, I'd gladly lead 2-3 cars through the high country for 3-4 days if your able.
