Interesting…so you used adhesive to install the window felt? I went a different route. I pulled all the little metal clips from the original ragged out felt, bought some generic felt from Rock Auto, then cut slits in it to insert the old metal clips so they would snap in. It was a lot of work. I didn’t think about just using adhesive.

Yeah, this adhesive holds really well. It takes a while to set up which can be a real pain on a vertical surface. It can be extremely messy too but the end result is a good strong hold.

I like your idea of reusing the clips and probably would have gone that route as well if my original clips hadnt rusted out and disappeared over the years.

I was missing maybe 4 of those clips and picked up some from the boneyard at BTB Products here in Las Vegas. I have been told you can buy them new still from Toyota as they are also used on FJ40’s.

Had a difficult time removing the line until adding some heat. The old trick that works nearly everytime.
I also "bench bleed" the new master in my hand. I just used an old banjo and line to do this.
Working by myself, I then assembled everything, bleed the slave cylinder in the carport and fished it all back in along the firewall as it was assembled. Everything is back in place where it should be and working.
