Dude, though I'm not a big fan of Chevy parts in a Cruiser, that is one SWEET engine! Very nice work all over that thing.

Oh and did you notice that gleam in your sons eyes? I see a rock crawler in the making! :D

Is that a double pumper? Let me know how it works off road, got one on my sbc400, terrible gas mileage, but my motor is so over built I can't put anything less on it :(.

Sweet build!

more pics to come!! And my son blake helps out as much as he can. He loves to be out in the garage with me turning any bolt that a wrench will fit on. as soon as he is old enough were gonna start on either a waggon or a 45

Nice work and good looking family  The only bad part about the nice shiny chrome parts is by the time the engine breaks in it'll all start turning colors. Or maybe thats just the junk I buy

Looks great...very nice work!

some pics of the axle stand and more of the frame plate for the powersteering

Tell me about your steering column....

what do you want to know? Its a Flamingriver column adapted to a Flamingriver d joint that is welded to the shaft and then to a u joint that I got from 4x4 labs that goes to a 1970 impala steering box

Nice Job

Nice Job

Must feel nice to see the paint on it---I'm really lookin forward to that on my 71

Bringing this thread back from the dead. We are getting ready to take this cruiser to the next level with some 37" IROK's, & possibly more gear reduction. After helping my buddy Mike build this 72, I now have the bug & looking to build one as well! Have built a handful of mini-trucks, 4runners, etc, haven't owned a 40 yet but lookin forward to it!
