I think Costco is selling that compressor for $50- and I like their return policy a lot better than e-Bay's.

That is the only thing that has happened to me as well. Granted it was 109 and it shut down half way through airing up the last tire.

Haven't heard of one burning up yet, a few have had problems. Phil broke a switch, a wire came off of one of mine and had to be soldered and Beowolf had a relay go bad in one of his. As far as I know all were repaired and running.
