She needs a dedicated saw. Long story short, I told her to throw the 026 in the truck because the Pouland is 'hard to start', and the 'husky is too heavy'.
Bad idea, now it's her go to unit..
Thinking of getting her into a MS210 or MS200 for her job, 02?

I love my husky, it has outperformed everything I've owned from Poulan to several other models. The only thing that compares is a stihl.

what a hopeless romantic you are...

Nothing says "I love you" like a new frickin' chainsaw...

I imagine - Titanpat57 - that you're the type to give pearls, diamonds, furs and other assorted jewelry to your beloved........
........well its guys like you that give the rest of us an undeserved bad rap!!!

In HIS way - Splitshot is being very considerate and is thinking of a THOUGHTFUL gift ... something useful and practical -- that a husband can be proud of!
I imagine if he went out of his way to buy her a fishing boat and motor -- you'd be right there with your "snide comments" about how unromantic that was too! ??!

(you've been hanging around Starbucks too much!!)

That's hilarious!!

Nice try though...you guys don't need me to make you look bad...I have a feeling you're all doing fine on your own....:flipoff2:

Let's take a little trip down memory lane...shall we?

It's my 10th year anniversary, the 1st wife was into that country craft s*** that use to dot the walls everyones houses back in the 80's...

She's making these wood things, and painting them in the basement. She begs for month's prior for a combination belt/disc sander....and I keep putting it off for her birthday (Oct. 18th)....but she pics out this expensive painting set with paints and brushes...and of course...I don't argue, I had learned that by that point...:hillbilly:

So she gets the paint set for her B-day...but still hints about the sander. Soooooo.....I get it and wrap it for the A-day...(Nov 7) A-day comes, we're getting ready for dinner, and come walking in the house with the box, and she's all excited...and by this point so am I....

She opens it.....and GOES FxxxING BESERK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"A SANDER!!...A SANDER!!!!! 10 YEARS AND I GET A SANDER!!!!!!!!!!!!

That bitch didn't talk to me until Christmas.....

The nicest 6 weeks I remember about the marriage!!:lol::beer:

Well I certainly hope you said ..."not ANY sander dear ... ITS a PORTER CABLE !! :bounce:

If she is going to primarily be cutting 14" diameter and smaller wood, look at the MS 192, not the MS 192T.

It has the Easy to start feature, light weight, good balance and the power to weight ratio is spot on. In markets such as LA, it is our #1 selling saw to women buyers.

C-E right?

MS192CE.webp

Nice. Re: reach, balance ok with the 16" bar?
MS192CE.webp

That is the one. Balance is good w a 16". You have crazy hardwood so if she is going to help you fill Duke, give her the smaller diameter stuff and let her cut.

She will actually enjoy cutting wood if the saw fits her. Once she finds out how easy it is and how much fun it is, you will be the one dragging brush.

Let me know if you are going to get it for her for a Valentines day present. If you are, I will send you a pair of protective chaps for her.

LOL! Thanks!

Not Valentines, but might have enough saved for our aniversary.;)

I have been using the 40 this year, less cubes=Less Ibuprophen.:D
