Never too soon to start planning.

Who here is going to American Adventurist Mountain Rendezvous this year?

I'm assuming Jerry (TemboTusk) and Paul/Henry will be getting in early as a vendor. Save us all some room Jerry!

I plan on leaving early Friday morning. We non-vendor peons aren't allowed in until noon Friday as in past years.

Post up if you are coming. I personally can't wait. Haven't been out since Desert Rendezvous with the job change and chaos that's caused in my life!

BTW - we all know Nathan will be arriving around midnight with the platoon so we'll leave the lights on! :D

Even with the rain, I can't believe fire restrictions will be lifted and rightfully so! Anyone invest in a propane fire yet? Thinking about it. There's a nice thread on AAV about all the different options. Even tho I get all my firewood for free from my golf club, lugging the wood and the firepit is a PITA and use during this historic drought is very restricted. Not complaining about that at all tho - especially with the Lake fire, Cahoun Pass fire, Newhall fire...you get the idea!

Ugh, I saw MRV and I thought you were talking about my old company, I was ready to talk you off the ledge.

When is the date? Not sure I can swing going as a vendor but who knows.

If you aren't already signed up over on American Adventurist, you're too late. MRV is limited to 125 trucks and the 20 truck waitlist is also full.

Sorry! This one has limited camping availability at the Boy Scout camp unlike Desert Rendezvous which is only limited by the size of the desert!

I'm going. I will probably get there before noon friday as I've done the last 2 years........

Nathan DID arrive before dark for this past desert rendezvous, but based on historical evidence, at this point that would be considered an anomaly: so yes, we'd better leave the lights on, Hehe......

Yeah, we're not going to make it this year:crybaby:
Sign ups closed while we were in Ireland, but more importantly, we're going to 200's in Ouray and the two are too close:bang:

Have a great time as always and kick some ass with the dutch oven Brent!!!

Have fun in Ouray - beautiful country!

Thanks for the vote of confidence... I think:D

We'll be there, hopefully in the line before noon... Can't wait! We have only been out for a couple overnighters close to the house and the kids have been bugging me weekly.

If you 'really' plan on getting out of here early Friday Nathan, PM me and we can caravan up there.

We'll do. Thinking of even heading up Thursday. Work has been crazy and I need to get away from the beach:confused:

I don't think we can get into the Scout camp the day prior Nathan.

Even if we can't, we're thinking of finding a place close and spending the night.

There's a large open space right above the scout camp. I don't know if it's part of the scout camp or if it's even legal to camp there. Lots of yellow post sites on the road to a cabin I can't remember the name of up there that'd be close enough. I can't get away from work early tho on Thursday.

sorry you missed the Monache trip this past weekend. Was a good trip. Not until I got back, did I see you'd posted on the other forum you had an interest to go, or I'd have suggested you join us.....

Be good to see you and the family at MRV!

Wish we could of made Monache... Work has been crazy with no relief. We're excited for the MRV .

I'm in :bounce::bounce2:
Both kids are coming, which hasn't happened in a long time. :princess: will have the weekend to herself. I will have to bolt in the 3rd seat :)
We will leave Friday probably mid morning. Save me a spot Brent.
Sold the Kaymar, so I will be bumperless until the 4x4labs arrives in Sept.

Mark, are you officially registered or are you crashing?

I may come up Friday afternoon and leave Sat evening but am not registered. Will I be able to camp with the group or do I need to find a spot somewhere else?

I would be interested in a caravan if it works out.

I'm registered.
I have not done MRV before, but it sounds like spots are limited so I think registration is required.
LMK if/when you are leaving and we can meet up and caravan.

Either BSA and or AAV limits the number of registered trucks. Mark, you'll understand when you get there! Space is limited, so we'll save you a place. Taking Friday off. Nathan, Russell and I all plan on being there mid to late morning to get in early.
