Do any of you guys use or recommend under coating? I have been dealing with the salt in the air from the ocean and its already starting to start some light surface rust but when I lived in the Midwest they used a lot of salt on the road and the under carriages were usually pretty severe after a few years. I remember some guys recommending T-9 spray.

They don't salt the roads in the Missoula area, and as far as I know the rest of Montana. I'm running original body coating.

They have begun using chemicals on the roads in South Central MT

Spotted this at the Hungry Moose in Big Sky. Cashier said it has over 200k miles and the owner keeps it around for deliveries because it's so good in the snow with the snow tires (looks like Cooper Discoverer M+S).

How's inventory for the 100's in Montana? I am thinking about maybe getting a 2nd one for the wife depending on how long her SUV lasts and if I can find one up there.

There are a lot of them up here driving around, but I don't see them for sale that much on Craigslist or at the dealership. It's a great do it all Montana vehicle, so people probably have no reason to ever sell. When I got mine, I was looking for several months and finally flew to Denver to get the right one. If you are in southern CA, you might as well get one down there. Otherwise, look at major cities out west to find solid, salt-free examples.
