I want to move the hazards switch so I can velcro-mount my XM Roady better. Before I rip into the dash and try moving the switch to, say, the left side of the steering column, how far does the harness allow? I don't want to do any cutting or soldering. Just an easy move. Thanks in advance.

Not too far. Maybe to another knockout panel adjacent. The antenna control has the longest harness in my experience, but still only long enough to get to the lower row of panels.

Darn. So I'd have to move the antenna down to the bottom row and move the rear defrost and hazards over. I can deal with that.

Thanks, OZ. Yo quiero la super rica. My buddies jumped the gun and went without me last week and loved it. Bastids.

If you are brave, you can just extend all the wires. Cut back from the harness a few inches, add in the wire you need and solder everything back together. Then move it where you want.
