Okay everyone, I’m getting ready to sell my 60 (:crybaby:) and the last thing that I need to do is mount my full-size ARB roof rack. I’ve seen 60’s that use 2 mounting legs per side and others using 3 mounting legs per side. If you have an ARB roof rack on your 60, what has your experience been? Are 2 legs per side enough to fully support the rack and whatever you mount on top of it? Also, other than Man-A-Fre, does anyone know of a relatively inexpensive source where I could purchase the mounting legs? (If anyone has some ARB mounting legs that are in need of a new home, I would be willing to adopt them!) Any input you all could provide me would be greatly appreciated.

Outdoor Adventure, if I’m reading your response correctly, Groucho makes his own roof rack mounts? Will they work with an ARB rack, or do you tell him what rack and Cruiser you have and he fabricates the mounts based on your responses? (Sounds like 4 per side is the way to go.)

Gonna have to get a mount kit from ARB for this to work. It is a unique mounting system.

Call Cam at Iron Pig Off Road, Toyota 4WD experts and he can get you some.

I might be interested in taking the rack off your hands and save you the trouble of having to mount it, if the price is right. I'm in Santa Monica, let me know.

IMHO, it's not worth it to mount. The truck wont sell for any more with a roof rack. Save yourself the trouble and sell the rack separately.

And Im not just saying that cause I'm looking for a rack, but if you sell the rack and they guy above me doesn't want it, hit me up, I'm local so I can come and get it.
BTW, I was being honest at the top of my post.

my ARB rack is 3/4 (it was cut down) and i have 3 mounts on each side.
