Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

Looking at a 2009 LX 570 black. 180k miles, southern own truck. Seller asking for 17.9k, can I do better? Also cannot register the VIN in Lexus website, so I can’t seem to find those records. Carfax shows good maintenance record with 1 minor accident. Doesn’t seem to show AHC maintenance or transmission (which is why I need to see the Lexus records)
Decent deal. There are always better deals to be had, but clean southern trucks getting rarer and rarer in the pre 2013 space. If it was posted on the forums by a diligent owner with all the records, I would expect it to be priced higher.

Agreed. Going to do a PPI and try to negotiate down. Really big of fan of the LX look, so I can save money going with LX over LC but still have seen some stuff on the forums of expensive AHC problems closer to 200k

When I bought Mine 2020 in 2016 anyone could see the records using the VIN. And the records included non dealer service. Now the non dealer stuff is gone and if you don’t own the vehicle it may not let you see the records.

It went to the RMR folks over in Alabama.

It is crazy to think someone will have to pay even more than it went for in BAT. It is got to be an enthusiast to pay six figures in a Toyota and a collector to buy one with that low miles. You would think they would have simply bought in BAT, as opposed to subject themselves to a dealer. Crazy world we live in.

Exactly. That dealer told me $180k when I first inquired about their 8 mile silver HE earlier this year. They also had another silver HE at the time with <15k miles and wanted $110k. Not long after that I found the one I currently own for $90k at a Toyota dealer. (Also Silver HE, same mileage). The real kicker was they didn’t even offer me anything more for my trade in than the Toyota dealer. (I had a white, 2020 HE)

I’m sure they have excellent condition trucks and the service is good but I don’t really like when people try and corner the market on something which is what they are doing with low mileage 200’s.

Not a fan, but there are plenty of people ready to part with their hard earned money for that RMR 4x4 tag.

What exactly does that tag adds? Not antagonizing, just asking...
Its a status symbol in Bham. Similar to a designer watch, purse, clothes etc.

I know the guys at RMR and they are awesome dudes so I would definitely buy all my rigs from them if i didnt have a closer connection in town

Finally bit the bullet and joining the 200 series family as my wife has declared my aging mildly built 2001 LX unfit for long haul family duties. It will remain in the stable for all tough and/or dirty jobs. Found an extremely clean, meticulously maintained 2015 LX with 105k on the clock for 35k. A bit more than I wanted to pay but it was local and it was the color I wanted. Going to pick her up tomorrow.

Well done! That exact setup 2014-2015 with ~100k miles was $40-45k all day during the pandemic.

I'm calling it a bogus listing....
