Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

Interested to see what this one brings. If it were any color other than black I’d be tempted to place a bid myself.
Not much in the way of excitement for this auction but chalk one up for the buyers I’d say. I know that’s still a lot of dough but a final year HE with so little mileage and in such pampered condition would have brought another $10-$15k just 8-9 months ago.

Didn't that auction winner still have to pay around $102,000 plus tax for a used Land Cruiser? Low mileage for sure but that doesn't seem like some crazy steal for the buyer.

Just be aware, those 08 and 09 model year LC's have a well known oil leak from the front timing case covers and it needs complete tear down fix, and is not cheap.

There is a 2013 LC with 30K miles for $50K in NJ. No pictures to show the rust.

For those hunting on the cheaper end, be wary of this one listed with 190K as the listing is incorrect. Odometer states 290K miles vs stated 190K. Cheapest 200 series I have seen though. Two tone may be acceptable to some, may be a turn off to others.

2010 Louisiana LC 290K miles $18K

If you’re talking about the one at Haldeman Lexus, then I saw that one. It’s rusted to hell.

A tale of two LC's that I just looked at. Both at dealers. Both '21.

Black with Terra. Rear seat entertainment. A lot of undercarriage rust for the year. Rear hatch did not open and close as it should. 65K miles. 69K

With with black. No DVD's. Very clean. No rust. No rips/tears/etc. 39K miles. 80K
I once negotiated $2,000 off the asking price on a 2020 LC bc I said I would have to fix the rear hatch that didnt raise or lower. Little did they know (Honda dealer) that the function was only just turned off. I still think of that deal. lol

Interesting price history for one of the cars for sale here on MUD, LC2014, inflation and covid 19 shortage - definitely made the prices crazy.

I'd love to see this cheaper, but a 2011 with 56k miles. Asking $48k

He's dreaming, IMO. Worth it to the right buyer I guess. It's still 12 years old, with aging electronics.

If you've been shopping this is the trend. Folks are trying to capitalize off of what's left of this craziness we had been in. You'll notice most just want to get their buy in price back - can't blame them, id be trying to do the same thing especially if indicators seem to be all over the page

I think most of the correction will be at the top end, but 200s are going to hold their value pretty well. 200 prices always kept 100 prices in check. There's not going to be anything like that with the 200s with the LX600 being both a low volume seller and different motor. The 'next' LC will be a smaller vehicle with a smaller motor. As higher mileage 200s get into 'nice' 100 price ranges, buyers will jump onto them and keep the 200 floor strong. 200s started at, what, $30K MSRP over 100 MSRP and did 1/2-2/3 the overall sales volume? A 'new' LX600 is still doing $120K at wholesale auction.

I've got no affiliation with that seller. I just like talking about prices and trends and these thoughts are what made me jump to a 200 when a good opportunity came along. I expect 200s with mileage under 100K to stay pretty strong. They aren't making any more of them and the number available shrinks every day.

Driven by a Lil old lady...
Old lady with Young man's leg!

I'd say wait until the new LC is unvailed in the US on August 1st 2023 to see massive price drops in 200. I am no way pay high $ for 4+ year old any vehicle with few or no modern safety features. Insurance will be quite low for all those collision related tech stuff.

Several 4x4 offroad videos has shown the LC 200 is too heavy and too many electronics, that they get bogged much easily, snap CV axles and alternator/electrical failures compared to 100.
