Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

PSA- be super careful dealing with craigslist and facebook marketplace. A guy in RAL disappeared while selling a 2006 RR sport. happened in broad daylight in a busy suburb of RAL. Sad if this guy got murdered over a $13k vehicle. be very very wary.

This hits home to me. Ive bought and sold vehicles on MUD and Craigslist and FB marketplace. I bought my current LX570 off of craigslist with my 2 year old son in the car. Just please operate with maximum caution.

Yikes, that hits a bit close to home. A good reminder, thanks.

I‘ve always been hesitant to use CL for that very reason. You truly never know what’s going to show up.

A guy that worked for me a few years ago sold his motorcycle online. He had the prospective buyer meet him at a sheriffs office parking lot.

Hey everyone. Just wanted some quick opinions. I found a 2013 LC 79,000 miles for $38,500. Price seems decent but on the car fax it shows 4 previous owners. Should I be concerned?

I wouldn't worry about the owner number, more so the service history of the vehicle. The price seems great.

Yeah that’s how I felt. Unfortunately got an email back stating it has been sold. I’m starting to also look at the lx 570 because of pricing and availability.

Interesting insights. Some things I hadn’t considered, such as lease extensions that pushed over a half million cars from early 2020 returns to late 2020. Could provide some sweet sweet 2017 LX570’s...

Bad news :( , at least they caught the guy quickly.

I've been in contact with the seller of this truck: For Sale - 2009 TLC

Seems well enough put together with plenty of tasty bits. I don't have much more info past the ad other than the truck started life in Virginia, then it had a run in Washington, Colorado, and back to Washington. Sounds like Slee did the suspension work in 2016. No idea what the undercarriage looks like. I hope to take a look at it early next week.

Does $36k sound reasonable for this truck?

I think this is a decent comp. for price purposes.

If I were you I would compare the builds /mileage etc. and come to a conclusion on value. At first glance 36 seems high to me, but I suppose if that undercarriage is nice and black like it came from the factory then maybe its not too far off

Planning to purchase this 2016 onyx blue with black interior 62k miles for 54k. It will be a long distance purchase but it seems toyota dealer is honest and straight forward. 2 years from CT and 2 yrs north Fla. just asking for more underchassis pics.
Is it worth the purchase?

is onyx blue rare?

That's the most sensible price I have seen in months. Good luck with your purchase!

Seems ok to me...your undercarriage/rust concerns are certainly warranted. Perhaps a 3rd party inspection?

For reference, I just bought a 2016 blue/terra sight unseen in Colorado back in June. I paid $54k and it also had 62k miles on it when I purchased. I think that price is pretty fair for yours based on availability and sales right now.

Iv been looking for that color combo

Just bought a silver ‘13 LX 570 w/128k for $29500 otd at a Toyota dealer. Southern truck, no rust, hasn’t been offroaded. I got them to change all fluids minus AHC since I didn’t know that was a thing (I’m doing it myself), brakes, and spark plugs. Not an amazing deal, but I think it was decent. Picking it up tomorrow and I already have $6k of mods floating around in my head that I’m going to have to patiently wait on...or give in and just face my wife’s wrath.
