Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

You mean the one sitting in my driveway? :) Very clean, not perfect but overall very happy. Upgrading from a 2012 4Runner Trail.

Awesome. Glad to hear that went to someone here. It definitely looked nice from the pics they sent. Congrats!

bout to pull the trigger on a 2015 w 98K Miles for $43K and thoughts? White over Black/Grey looking 9.5/10 w a reasonable service history.

New member here due to my recent (picked up yesterday) purchase of a 2011 Silver over grey interior with 165k miles for $30,000. The dealer claimed it had full southern dealer maintenance records, and boy they weren't kidding. After spreadsheeting all of the invoices I found in the glove compartment, there are literally only two oil changes unaccounted for in its 165k mile history (all of the others are between 5-6k with incredible consistency.) The previous owner kept it entirely in the SE US and made sure it got belts, trans flushes, spark plugs, etc all within 5k miles of where they should have been completed. I'm thrilled.

It even had the original window sticker inside with a beautiful $79k original price tag. The only thing leaving me scratching my head is why they wouldn't have thrown in the remote starter after springing for $300 in front window tint, and $1100 worth of side molding and fenders.

I'm coming from a 2003 4.7L 4Runner that still runs as good as new with 275k miles, so mileage was a minimal factor in my search.

I'm going to look at a black 13 lx with 92k on it, no accidents, missing about 15k of service history early in life but the rest is there, never been up north. Dealer is asking 35k. Seems a bit high to me based on some of the lc purchase prices I've seen on this thread. What would be a reasonable price for it?

Just saw a local 2016 with 84k miles, for $53k, single owner from Texas. Maintenance done a a few thousand miles late each time, but otherwise there. Non-negotiable dealership. Seems little steep, remember another '16 with 54k miles that went for around the same price. But is this Covid-times "good price"? A year ago this would have sold for $4k less.

A week or so ago was speaking with one of the small Indy lots, they usually have 5-6 LX 470s and 570s. Currently they have 2. When I asked if they anticipated on getting any new inventory in, the guy said he can’t really get much at auction right now because the prices are just too high. He said the dealers that offer financing are driving up the price at auction. He anticipates the prices to come down in the next few months as more repos start hitting the market.

He is the second small dealer that said he can’t buy at these prices. This was somewhat confirmed when I took a look at a 2016 LC. The sales guy said retail basically is the wholesale price right now. I kind of laughed as they aren’t running a non-profit, so I asked if they means they make the money on financing. At that point he said he just knows about the sales side. Here is hoping for a 50% increase in LC/LX inventory and a 15% drop in prices :)

Could you share your experience with the roof rack please? I've heard that they are terribly noisy? I'd love to have one but I like the peaceful experience of the LC200. TIA
LeRoy, are you asking about the FR rack? I have one on my truck. You saw it in front of Shannon's shop a few months ago. I'm in Boca too just off 18th St & Federal if you want to come take my truck for a spin. I've figured out a few things and it's pretty quiet as far as I'm concerned. My buddy around the corner has a Prinsu and loves it and I'm sure you can drive his truck too.

Yes, I remember. Shannon had one on his 570 and took it off because of the noise. I really want to install a roof rack but I'm reluctant to give up the smooth and quiet experience. Shoot me your number and I'll come by when you can take me for a quick I95 spin, thanks.

So I've been haggling with a salesman about a silver 2018 LC they have. It's a Toyota dealer at a smaller town in the Great White North. The cruiser is a Demo with 13,000 miles. They want $74,600 for it and are touting as a new vehicle. I have told them several times it is overpriced and my reasons why, but they won't come down. Am I crazy thinking it's over priced? I am thinking it's worth about $70,000. If they came down to that level, I would buy it.

Bought a 2020 with 6 miles on it for $78k. They’re smoking crack.

They're just as nuts as whoever has the used 2020 Heritage Edition for sale for $92k. But you can't make them sell. All you can do is give them your best offer and let them know to call you if they change their minds. The market is not rational right now, though.

Someone may pay that price it would’t be me. If you can get a 2021 for ~$80k in your choice of color, why buy 2018 w/13k for $74k.

It's definitely crazy and overpriced, but if they know the used 200 market right now, they will know that people cannot find them so they can ask whatever they want. I over paid by about $2k on my 2016 used but I wanted one that bad and it was blue/terra which is the #1 color choice for me.

This one has been for sale at my local dealer for quite sometime.

Are you sure it's still there? A lot of times advertisers keep running that ad even though the vehicle is gone, just to get you in the door.

Curious what the board thinks of a pristine 2017 LX with 42k (the white one here) for $63k? I know it's a bit high but I've been looking for the right combo of colors and miles for months now. Getting tired of looking.

What would that go for pre-COVID? Is it a $60k truck or less? Just trying to figure out how much I would be overpaying to see if I'm willing to do it. I'm on the fence.
