Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

Are you sure it's still there? A lot of times advertisers keep running that ad even though the vehicle is gone, just to get you in the door.
It was a week ago when I was there for an alignment, they told me they were have trouble selling it. Not much land cruiser love or money in WV.
It was left over from the car show in the spring they didn’t order it.

Curious what the board thinks of a pristine 2017 LX with 42k (the white one here) for $63k? I know it's a bit high but I've been looking for the right combo of colors and miles for months now. Getting tired of looking.

What would that go for pre-COVID? Is it a $60k truck or less? Just trying to figure out how much I would be overpaying to see if I'm willing to do it. I'm on the fence.

My rough figuring is that just about all large SUV‘S are 10% over their pre-rona prices. Largely based on CarGurus price trends showing 6-8% increase in values over the last 90 days; when in a sane world they should have decreased a few percent as the models aged.

I’m mainly working that $35-45K range and seeing a $4K price increase across the board.

I think 10% is a pretty good estimate 🍻

My local Lexus dealer was moving 2017 CPOs w/30-40k miles for between $60-$65k for CPO but now $67-$68k.

If you can wait until November/December my theory is they should have a fair number of 2017s coming in off lease based on the sales figures from Q4 2017.

Your time does have value, so unless you are willing to wait to see if price cool off, then noting wrong with”over paying”. I think right about now my wife would pay about anything for my car search to end. I’m going to throw her off and just go get a Land Rover.

Maybe it's closer to pre COVID than i thought. I can get a Carmax warranty for a couple thousand. And i still would have a bit of factory warranty left. Still 2-3k high, but not terrible. I'm seeing lots of 17s in the high 60s these days.

I remember seeing a Grey 2017 CPO LX in Colorado Springs 3 weeks ago for $60,500, it was listed for around $67k a month earlier. Looked great in the pics.

Finally joining the club after spending 2+years lurking in this forum and searching for the right rig in the PNW:

2010 LX570 w/86k on the odo for $34k. Dealer serviced it's whole life with service notes every 5-6k. Interior is the cleanest I've seen and the truck is bone stock. I figure I paid a $2-4k premium for these COVID times + PNW lack of inventory.

Would this be the place to ask what we think an 08, 2 owner, 151k mi is worth? In connecticut, no major rust issues, 5 BFG KO2, fixed the radiator and water pump @ 110k, brakes have 5k on them, full ARB IPF / Sylvania LED headlight and foglight swap...

If not, sorry for mucking up the thread!

Sounds like you want an asking price instead of a concrete sales price that was paid (which I think is the point of this thread). If you are thinking of buying or selling, maybe post a thread with photos ect (yes the undercarriage). Then state what you should be asking or paying whatever the number is.

Your Connecticut no major rust issues is probably a flat walk away horror show to the fellas out west so opinions vary. Could even ask in a regional thread.

Sure, I am just looking for guidance on pricing. Obviously I don’t have a selling price. However if my asking price is well priced, it would be the selling price! I’m trying to gauge.

if there’s a specific place to ask... great. I have looked and couldn’t find any specific thread that was close...

In this market and if were mine, I would start high and work your way down if you don’t get enough interest. Depends how long and how much hassle you want to deal with. Do a search on auto trader, find the highest price and go from there.

$21-25k would be my guess.

2008-9's
These 3 are all in the Atlanta area. I am very tempted by the costa azul (my preferred color) but have a hard time paying covid prices. The green is definitely overpriced but it is a sweet color. And both LX's have had their water pump/belt done, but no mention of radiator.

Man I want that Amazon Green bad but they are way over priced and the trade in they quoted me was a little low.

That blue 570 is nice looking!!

Wow, yeah the Amazon green is steep. Even the fact that its a TX truck w/no rust can‘t justify that. The LX at the Lexus dealer would be intriguing. If they thought enough of it to keep it that says a lot to me. Doesn’t mean its perfect of course.

I've purchased a car from another Hennessy dealer; make sure you know their dealer fee before making an offer. At their other luxury dealerships it's often $699 to $899 so factor that in.

This summer, I purchased a Certified '16 LC with 37k miles for $55,000. I also opted for the Platinum Certified Plus Plan Warranty which was an additional 84 mos/84k miles on top of the 12/12 from the Certified warranty. It cost my $2,500. While I normally wouldn't purchase an extended warranty, it seemed like a small price to pay to cover a car for 8 years since I drive about 12k per year.
