152K on my 08'. previous owners responsible for the first 146K. they did all the recommended services..fluids, battery, belt, brakes, water pump, etc...I just replaced the starter. P.I.T.A. job. not technically difficult, just hard to reach. Build a jumper cable/screwdriver jumper tool if you are worried about the starter going out. if you get a click and failure to start.....be warned, you are on borrowed time.

Bought my '13 LC with 127k on Black Friday. Promptly replaced leaking water pump and installed a set of 275/70/18 KO2's. Now has 129k. Not the most but a lot for a 2013. Love the truck way more than I thought I would and find myself sneaking past my 80 to drive it more and more.

What were you doing with your phone for those 8 miles is what I want to know?

And I'm wondering why you don't have all 5 tire pressures the same... That is ludicrous!

I know, I was waiting for this day and blew it by 8 friggin miles.

Tire pressure - I knew someone would see that. It's cold and I'm busy.
I'm on it

Also, I think your fuel gauge is broken. Shows an 'F'. Were you still at the pump!?

199k on an 08 posted via autotrader.

saw that one, just 23k, wow....

It would be a bad idea to purchase this, right? I had an 100 series for 8 years and switched over the past year to a 4runner Trail but its just not the same. I can't stop thinking about getting back into a cruiser.

An 08 with 199k for 23-24k. Please talk me out of purchasing this (or into it, I really want it).

(Apologies for possibly derailing the thread. Maybe the responses could be helpful to someone re: high mileage 200s)

The carfax says it was maintained at a non-Toyota dealer which is iffy. I'd say the only real issue is the fact that it spent it's life in a snowy region. Get it PPI'd by a another dealer. I do remember previous pics of this LC where it had a couple of dents, now they're magically gone. Maintenance is more important than mileage.

I saw the 2 previous pics on the high mile 08 in Oregon. If it checked out well I would still be interested if I was in the market. Just understand that the money youre saving due to high miles is difficult to makeup if you don't do your own work and nearly anything happens to need mechanical work. I work on my stuff so I would be interested. If I was one of the folks on here who just heads to the dealer for everything, I wouldn't chance it.

2008 with 195k. Changed the water pump because it had a few drips but nothing major. Very regular Maintenance. No other issues.

This is a very encouraging thread! Having just turned over 5K miles yesterday and having put 55K on my LR4 in two years, that means I should be able to get over 12 years of adventure out of this truck. Awesome! I may die before the truck does. (I don't need to commute so if I'm not running errands, the truck is (mostly) headed toward the mountains.)

I'm at 168,000. I had to replace the timing chain tensioners, radiator, water pump, Leaking Cam Tower Seals, valve cover gaskets, belts pulleys. I should be good for another 150,000
