Thank you. I’m stoked with the results. The 2-tone hood is going to pull it all together (well, that and getting my doors back on ).

Mine is too... lol! There’s a fly on my truck in the first pic that I posted above. I think it’s the smell. As it fully cures and the fumes dissipate, hopefully the flies take off.

Starting to put things back together. Got the tape off, side markers and the lower tailgate installed. She’s coming together!

Hood on, upper lift gate, quarter glass and rear glass reinstalled. And, started blacking out chrome and vents... got a few bits and pieces back on her. This week, I’ll be putting the doors back on and, hopefully, getting Ruby back on the road!

While my windshield is out seemed like a good time to address the recent crack in my dash.

taped it off, sanded it and applied caulk. Will lightly sand, add more caulk and tape off and spray paint tomorrow. It will leave me with a “racing strip”, but given how fast this rig is, it seems appropriate

AND a big f-up today. Put my fenders on before reinstalling my front doors. Wasted 2 hours removing my fenders, hanging the doors and putting my fenders back on.

Won’t make that mistake again!

Thank you! Yes, almost finished. Just need get Monstaliner on my doors above the body line. Bumpers on and new roof rack on.

Trying to get back to my truck and monstaline it because of all the stupid LX cladding holes....has anyone used the Tooth Fairy color? a quick google search gives no vehicles painted in it, but I thought id try!

Also are most people that go white using the monstaliner White or Toyota 045 white like the factory 80 series?

I thought the color Hypochromic was the Toyota white?

It hurts me to do it because I had what I think is the best LC color but it had to be done.
