We've got a new edition to the family! 2014 with Atrac, Rear Locker and 6 speed.
I've been told "hands off"...

For now, Holly's 96 4Runner will be up for sale soon. If anyone is interested in DD that's only really seen highway for 20 years. 286k and still strong!

I'm glad her 4Runner is the causality and not yours.

Nice! I miss my FJC :(. Sure, the Taco can haul gravel, horse s***, and lumber; the visibility is better, and the quad cab has better accessibility. It just did not have the same character is the FJC. Sometimes I wish I had just bought a good utility trailer.

Congrats!

Cool new truck. I've considered getting one once the Hundy has outlived it's usefulness (When the kids are grown up and don't go places with us anymore)

How much for the '96 4Runner? 3.4L V6? 4WD? Manual or auto tranny?

Steve - Congrats on the new rig! I like it! Something was so different about it, and I couldn't figure it out, then it hit me, it's just so "stock!" A rarity with this group. Like she said - hands off!

Steve, did you get my email about the hops? truck looks good! you have a great Toyota herd going there.

Not sure yet need to do my homework, It's the 3.4L and manual 5 speed, sun roof, green with tan interior (just like mine), has everything for a RR locker but the pig tail and well locker. Still haven't figured out where the locker went:hmm:;)

LOL yeah, besides how nice it is to drive something stock I really want to fix it up with lift and tires and bumpers and sliders and and and....

Thanks! Got to get the 40 going now! It's kind of cool having Toyotas that range over 40 years and a sampling every 20 years. Also kind of amazing how the transmission in the FJC shifts great and all but still has that truck/tractor transmission feel to it. Zippiest 4x4 I've driven - going 80 by the end of the on ramp no problem!
