Did you anchor it so the Bose Minisound won’t fly off during bumps? Is it being charged while your driving?

No anchor, stickiness of the base keeps it stable unless I jossel up a >20deg incline.

No charging while riding. Battery lasts longer than my 8 minute commute for better than a week. If I need longer, I go USB through cig lighter. Plus it’s all portable and fits in the glove box for “security”

When I was 16, I took my parents 40 to high school auto shop and we drilled out a hole in the dash. Actually a lot of holes and then a lot of filing. Rough trimming of the dash pad, some wiring using mostly the same color wire and voila, Tunes!

Looking back on it now, I wish I wouldn't have cut the hole. I have gone through a couple radios because the cowl leaks. And the CD mechanism never works too long with all the dirt that gets in.
I made an overhead console that mounts to the roll bar hoops (works with the bikini top). I mounted my cb in there along with the 6 disk changer and aux switches. And speakers too. I should've made it and mounted the good times radio in there from the beginning!

Since I saw a speaker mount question as well... I went with a pair of Yamaha outdoor speakers and I caught some Bazooka rollbar mounts on sale that I roughed up and painted black. Now that I see the loom, it does look a little rigged, but they work awesome, match the rollbar contour, and they fit under the hardtop when I test fit them.
